Chiaro is a London-based start-up, led by Tania Boler, mother of two and author of numerous books addressing sex education, pregnancy and HIV. Convinced of the convenience of wearables, she however observed a serious lack of investors for connected objects dedicated to women. Products that are essential to improving their quality of life. It's in 2013 that Tania meet Alex Asseily, founder of Jawbone, the second largest consumer technology and wearable products company after Fitbit. Together, they founded Chiaro and, with the help of a small team of international collaborators, developed their first product: Elvie.
Launched in October 2015, Elvie is an innovative connected device that facilitates pelvic floor exercises while tracking them in real time with a mobile app and a Bluetooth connection. Its smart and elegant design immediately seduced and even won it the honorary2016 Reddot Design Award, as well as other awards like the Best R & D Award at the Design Museum in London. Following her revelation after the birth of her first child, Tania Boler wants to continue developing innovative products that will help women to know better and better understand their bodies in order to take care of them. Elvie, now a reference brand in the field of connected kegel trainers, is the first of its many to revolutionise women's lives.
